Join Partnership : Bakrie Untuk Negeri

JAKARTA (26/06). Dam Burst in Situgintung, Cirendeu Precinct, City of South Tangerang, on previous March, 27th, 2009 has took 90 lives, creating thousands of internally displace person (IDP), losing job and work opportunity. These atmosphere has taken the nation mourn to the loss, including the PT. Bakrie and Brothers, Tbk, leading corporation in Indonesia, to designate specific program for the Situ Gintung Community through their social foundation, Bakrie Untuk Negeri.

Bakrie Untuk Negeri, led directly by Anindya N. Bakrie, has launch their internal campaign and managed to accumulate IDR 300,000,000 (about US $ 30,000,-) to support their Income Generating and Stabilization Program for 50 beneficiaries in Situ Gintung Community.

The launching ceremony of partnership between Rumah Zakat and Bakrie Untuk Negeri successfully held in Hall of Economic Faculty, Jakarta Islamic State University. Br. Pamungkas Hendra Kusuma (Vice CEO Rumah Zakat) officially accept the program from Anindya N. Bakrie (Chief of Bakrie Untuk Negeri), marking the program to start in next July 2009.
